Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
Art Gallery and Museum Kelvingrove is one of the most visited museums in Scotland. It is located in the city of Glasgow. Building was constructed in the Baroque style. The main construction material served as red sandstone, built out of it most of the buildings in Glasgow. Gallery opening was held in 1901.
The museum displays paintings by Claude Monet, Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Botticelli, Bellini, Rubens, Rembrandt and many other artists. Besides great art paintings, the museum presents a unique collection of armor, ancient weapons. You can also see here a collection of skeletons of prehistoric animals, and a collection of art of ancient Rome.
