Blue Planet Aquarium

Blue Planet Aquarium is both marine and freshwater aquarium. It was opened in 1998 and is still considered one of the largest in the whole of England. Visitors can see a variety of aquarium habitat of sea creatures. In thematic areas are inhabitants of tropical rivers, ponds and lakes. The aquarium is also home to various species of rare fish, reptiles, mammals and amphibians. 

The aquarium is located in the town of Ellesmere Port. You can get there by regular buses from Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and other nearby towns. Of Liverpool should go by bus number 1 from the street Sir Thomas, of Chester - bus number 1 or number 4 from the central bus station. You can also use the railway, the nearest station to the aquarium - Ellesmere Port.
