Warwick Castle
Warwick Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in the UK. It is located within the county of Warwick on the River Avon. The castle played an important role in the country's history and its magnificent view and save the very popular among many tourists.
The castle was built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Until the early 18th century, the castle was used as a fortification until Baron Fulk Greville not turned the castle into a country estate.
Over the centuries the castle changed its owners several times, constantly reinforced, turning in a magnificent palace. In one of the towers of the castle was imprisoned King Henry VI.
Today the castle is a popular tourist attraction. He belongs to the famous concern "Tussauds." Hundreds of spectators collected jousting festivals every year who arrange in Warwick Castle.
