Caernarfon Castle
One of the largest castles - Carnarvon, located in the same city county of Gwynedd, is a striking example of military architecture of the period of 13-14 centuries in Western Europe. Erection of the castle began in 1283, during the reign of Edward I. The huge medieval fortress, c rich history and ancient legends, excellent survives to this day and is a popular tourist attraction in Wales.
Carnarvon washed by the Menai Straits, separating from the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. Lock feature - the presence of the whole nine polygonal towers.
