Manchester Museum

Manchester Museum is a unique collection of archaeological and anthropological curiosities. It is part of the University of Manchester and is one of the largest university museums throughout the UK. The museum was opened in 1867. The basis of the museum's collection were items belonging to the Manchester Society of Natural History. Today, the museum houses over 6,000 original exhibits.
