St Mary-le-Bow
Church of St Mary-le-Bow is deservedly considered one of the oldest churches in London. It existed in the Saxon period. Modern church building was built in the seventies of the 17th century. The sound of the bells of the church since the forties of the last century is the constant companion of TV broadcasts "BBC» (BBC). Large bells of the church were badly damaged during the Nazi bombing during the Second World War. Today they are completely restored and encouraging their parishioners of the church bells of St Mary-le-Bow, as well as residents and guests of the British capital.
