No Pants Subway Ride

On the 12th of January, about sixty cities in 29 countries hosted the annual No Pants Subway Ride. About 16 thousand people of different world cities, including London, Berlin, Warsaw, Madrid, Paris, Hong Kong, Sydney, New York and others, took part in this unusual event. Participants were required to get on the subway without pants and go to their destination in underwear keeping a straight face. This year in New York, seven metro stations were involved. In Hong Kong, the number of participants wasn’t big – about forty people. Sydney is into luck, as it’s hot in Australia now and the brave without pants in the subway hadn’t shocked others.
This event aims to add some joy and humour to grey days, to make people laugh, to make them smile. Some passengers were shocked, while others liked this event, which put a smile on their face for the whole day!
